Liam is an experienced business leader, adviser, and market and people builder. He’s a recognized counsellor and executive, with a keen ability to thrive under pressure, motivate teams, and deliver results.

For nearly 23 years Liam has held client leadership and management positions at the global advisory and advocacy firm APCO.

He’s counseled CEOs and C-suite executives, government ministers, and boards of directors.

Liam has helped organizations deal with crises, ESG, and transformations. He has guided organizations deftly through defining moments, defending and enhancing reputation.

For a decade he oversaw business transformation and optimization in more than 20 markets around the world.

Liam has launched new offices and offers, opening APCO’s fastest growing office in Riyadh. He catalyzed business growth, architecting impactful strategies and programs for clients across more than 30 markets worldwide as head of global business development.

Liam has been a go-to media and public speaking coach for APCO’s clients.

Liam began his career developing and leading programs focused on topics including higher education access and youth leadership development as a private foundation program officer. Liam was an on-camera spokesman, led policy initiatives, and guided external communications.

Liam has worked in political strategy and media, advised political campaigns, and served on a number of NGO boards and advisory boards.

Liam works with experienced leaders as well as first-timers, tailoring every session to his clients’ objectives. While most coaching is 1:1, he’s also given masterclasses to large audiences and prepared frontline spokespeople before trade shows and conferences
